Privacy Policy

We'll keep this short. balliq.ai is built by a small team and we have no interest in harvesting your data. Here's exactly what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Your name — so your coach can address you properly.
• A passphrase you choose — this is how you get back into your account. We don't store passwords. We store a hashed version of your phrase so we can verify it, but we can't read it.
• Your chat messages — everything you tell your coach is stored so your coaching staff can remember context across sessions. That's the whole point.
• An optional email address — only if you choose to add one, and only used to help you recover access to your account if you forget your passphrase.
• Payment information — if you subscribe, payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

What we don't collect

• We don't ask for your age, location, phone number, or social profiles.
• We don't run advertising trackers or analytics that follow you around the internet.
• We don't use cookies beyond what's needed to keep you logged in.

How we use your data

Your data is used for one thing: to give you a better coaching experience. Your name and chat history are sent to the AI model that powers your coach so it can give you personalised, context-aware responses. That's it.

We don't sell your data. Ever.

We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Your coaching conversations are yours.

Third-party services

• Anthropic — the AI model that powers your coach. Your messages are processed through their API. See Anthropic's privacy policy.
• Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• SendGrid — used only to send account recovery emails if you request them.

Deleting your data

Want your data removed? Email us at hello@balliq.ai and we'll delete your account and all associated data within 7 days.
